Welcome to SethP's site on the web

I, who have personally created and run this personal website, am Seth Pylad (email address at the bottom of this page) and I live in Mariestad in Västra Götaland, Sweden. However, I’m originally from Scania in the very south of Sweden (from the Helsingborg and also Kristianstad area).

I launched the first version of this website in the early 2000s, but now, finally, it has received a much-needed and fairly extensive overhaul. This means, for example, that most, if not all, of the design-related elements are now handled with CSS code, instead of being embedded directly in the HTML on every single page, as they were before. The pages are also built entirely according to HTML5 and CSS3 standards. However, the most important change is that the entire site is now optimized for viewing on different devices and that was in fact the main reason I decided to rebuild the site from the ground up.

My website is now fully adapted for mobile phones and tablets as well as larger (regular) screens, and it is essentially based on what is known as responsive web design.

This site mainly contains information and facts about absinthe. But I also publish some of my photographs here, as well as write a bit about and provide a guide to PGP encryption for email in Windows. The target audience is primarily family and friends, but that by no means implies that the content is limited to them. So, once again, welcome!

Here you can download my public PGP key, which may come in handy if you’d like to send something encrypted (cryptic?) in an email to me. The key is available here both as an asc file (you may need to right-click and choose "Save link as") and as a txt file, i.e. more or less in plain text.   ;-)

Note that the key works both with my Gmail address as well as with the email address listed below.
